RE-ENVISIONING THE PAST
Honing in on the decades-long history of the Nashville Lumber Company's manufacturing facility, CENTRIC Architecture re-envisioned the prefabricated metal building into 70,000 sf of new creative offices linked together by an outdoor walkway populated with planting and the existing exposed structure. The revitalized complex off the Centennial Boulevard corridor has brought new life to the growing Nations community, through a design that pivots from it’s gritty, industrial past to a new clean-line modern form. Collaborating with CENTRIC Architecture to capture such an impressive architectural transformation was a true pleasure.

WHERE HISTORIC CHARM MEETS CONTEMPORARY LIVING
A Look Inside Conwood Flats
I recently had the chance to photograph Conwood Flats in Downtown Memphis—an inspiring space where historic character and modern living come together seamlessly.
This $80M, 136-unit luxury apartment community is rooted in the legacy of the Snuff District, blending contemporary design with preserved industrial details. The result is a warm, urban-rustic aesthetic that honors the city’s past while offering a refined living experience today.
Fun history about the property:
A bit of history makes the story even richer: the site traces back to the American Snuff Company, founded by Martin J. Condon, Sr., a Knoxville grocer who relocated to Memphis to build the factory. By the mid-1950s, it had grown into the second-largest snuff manufacturer in the U.S., employing hundreds at its Memphis plant. The buildings remained in use until 2012 before being thoughtfully reimagined into what is now Conwood Flats, which opened its doors in February 2023.
It’s always rewarding to capture spaces that carry both history and new life—and this one does it beautifully.

CAPTURING THE SPIRIT OF GROWTH, LEARNING, AND EXPLORATION AT ST. JUDE
I was honored to work with Bright Horizons to capture the transformation of a historic brownfield building into a vibrant early education center for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The 26,500 SF space, designed by Hixson Architecture, offers thoughtfully crafted environments—from infant rooms to a STEAM Lab—along with dynamic indoor and outdoor play areas.
My shoot included 37 carefully composed scenes, detailed documentation of every classroom, and inviting exterior and playground views, all highlighting the center’s spirit of growth, learning, and exploration.

CAPTURING ARCHITECTURAL ELEGANCE
A large residence in East Memphis had its interior architecture given a facelift. The entry hall, library, kitchen, primary bathroom, and closets, among other rooms, were completely redesigned. Working with Mark McClure and McClure Architecture to capture such an iconic property was a true pleasure.

WHERE RENEWABLE ENERGY MEETS THE BEAUTY OF THE LAND
At Goose Prairie, 190,000 solar panels stretch across 600 acres of the Pacific Northwest—quietly generating 80MWac of renewable energy.
For days, we arrived before dawn and stayed through dusk, capturing the subtle choreography of light, shadow, and stillness. We documented moment-in-time experiences that revealed the quiet harmony and thoughtful coexistence between technology and terrain—a visual dialogue where solar meets sky, and structure yields to landscape.

THE GUEST HOUSE AT GRACELAND™
Inspired by Elvis’ personal style and the iconic Graceland® Mansion, The Guest House at Graceland™ is a new 450-room, one-of-a-kind, AAA Four Diamond resort and southern hospitality experience. The $92 million luxury property brings guests closer to idyllic Graceland® than ever before, with design and décor of the specialty suites supervised by Priscilla Presley.
Produced in collaboration with Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc., DreamCatcher™ Hotels, Pyramid Hotel Group and HBG Design, I was proud to capture the essence of this distinctive property—it was an incredibly rare opportunity to, photographically speaking, dance with the vision of the King of Rock ‘n Roll.™
