CLIENT: Frank Harmon
PROJECT: Strickland-Ferris House
The owner wanted a modern and open house that was expressive of its making and allowed her to be enclosed by the forest. After spending 10 years living in DC, they wanted a non-confining retreat space and from those desires came a floating roof over an open floor plan of which half is a double height space.
Working with ultra creative designers is what I live for. When the owner of the project is equally creative, well... the experience is beyond words.
