PROJECT: Covenant Presbyterian Church
Standing majestically on the summit of Redbud Hill, the phased design implemented the client's vision of a stone-clad Gothic revival campus. The complex also features extensive social and educational facilities.
For me, photographing churches is a challenge and a passion. The challenge is that the spaces are both beautiful and massive. Lighting them can be quite involved and by the end of the shoot my feet hurt from all the walking. The passion comes from being inspired by the beauty of these structures. This month’s project exemplifies passion and challenge. My passion was fulfilled with the resulting images and my feet really hurt when we were done.
